Pantone has revealed its Color of the Year for 2025: a soft, luxurious brown called Mocha Mousse, continuing its decades-long tradition of spotlighting influential hues.

Described as a comforting, sensorial shade, Mocha Mousse (PANTONE 17-1230) draws inspiration from rich elements like cacao, coffee, and chocolate, evoking warmth, calm, and a touch of indulgence. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, shared that the color blends elegance with familiarity, elevating brown from an understated neutral to a tone that feels both refined and aspirational.
